Founded by Dan Clark, an electrical engineer who has been working in and around the high-end audio market for more than twenty years. Dan’s experience includes working in high-end retail, designing amplifiers and electronics for personal use, and designing commercial and custom loudspeaker solutions, including the highly-regarded and award winning Platinum Audio speakers from the late 1990’s. Dan has a particular fondness for Isobaric subwoofers.

In 2019 Mr Speakers renamed took it’s founders name and became Dan Clark Audio. The products continue to be designed and manufactured in the USA, and numerous global patents are applied to their uniquely developed technologies.

In 1958, John C. Koss teamed up with engineer Martin Lange, Jr. to develop a portable stereo phonograph player with side-wing speakers. The pair demonstrated their new stereo record player at a Wisconsin audio show. One of the product's unique features was a privacy switch, which allowed listeners to hear music by plugging in the world's first SP/3 stereophone. The stereophones were intended to be an accessory to demonstrate the high-fidelity stereo sound that the portable phonograph player delivered.

The revolutionary sound of the Koss SP/3 stereophone became the hit of the show.

Meze Audio was founded in 2011 in Baia Mare, Romania. We started small, acquiring knowledge by experimenting with parts already on the market, searching and researching for the right materials and engineering solutions in the quest for the perfect sound and feel. Our breakthrough year was 2015, when, after many years of development, the 99 Classics were launched. They keep receiving awards and nominations that are beyond anyone’s expectations and are placing the 99 at the top of its category. Today all our models, headphones and earphones, are developed in-house from the ground up, in the spirit of our original 'no-compromise' vision.

Founded in 1988, Shanling began to develop audio products and launched their first Hi-Fi stereo amplifier in the same year.

Shanling has launched new products every year since then and has obtained a series of patented technology qualifications, such as SONY LDAC, Bluetooth BQB, Japanese Audio Association Hi-Res, Microsoft's HDCD, Dolby Laboratories' Dolby Digital, DTS and DVD, SACD, CD patent licenses and many more.

Dongguan Sivga Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., established in 2016, is located in Dongguan city in China. It is a comprehensive enterprise integrating R&D, production and customer service. Sivga focuses on the innovation and production of high-end headphones. It has got rich experience and technology in the headphone acoustics industry. The key engineering team is formed by many elites from the electronic and acoustic field. From raw materials to finished products, the mastery spirit from all Sivga staff is gathered together to bring extraordinary quality life experience to the customers.

Sendy Audio is a sub-brand of Sivga. It is committed to making refined products and producing high-end headphones. Adhering to the traditional handicraft production and choose high-quality natural solid wood as the housing material, the whole production process takes a lot of manpower and time, from material selection, cutting, carving, polishing to repeated drying. The color and texture of each headphone housing is unique, which adds unprecedented extraordinary charm to the product. Due to the complex process, great difficulty in processing, long time of production and scarcity of materials, it is bound to be produced in small quantities.

ZMF headphones represent something wonderful and unique in a world where mass production is commonplace. They are a small scale producer, delivering beautiful, almost sculpture like headphones that are hand-made, and each one is tested, tuned and listened to by Zach Mehrbach, ZMF's designer and owner.

The production is artisan style, with hand assembly out of premium materials at our workshop just outside of Chicago, Illinois, USA. Our small team is expertly trained to make our unique, heirloom wood headphones. Each headphone is unique and built with love and care. We tend to think of a pair of ZMF headphones in the same way as a fine handmade timepiece. It’s something you buy not just for yourself, but for your future generations to enjoy.

ZMF headphones are engineered to extreme durability standards with proprietary parts and damping techniques. Each headphone is carefully tuned utilizing a state of the art Audio Precision system with an AECM206, APX515 and APX1701.

All drivers used are made in house utilising proprietary technologies, and carry an incredible lifetime warranty.

The real woods used in construction are carefully chosen for their specific sonic qualities. It's all about density. The density of wood will determine the ultimate perceived "speed" of your headphone. ZMF headphones only uses hard-woods that will sound fast, precise and detailed because of their high density.
